A Companion for the Caregiver's Journey
As a dad, husband, and son of a father recovering from surgery, this book felt deeply personal. It touches on the emotional, physical, and even spiritual weight of caregiving in a way that’s both relatable and reassuring. Themes of resilience, patience, and finding moments of grace stood out, but my favorite chapter was about balancing caregiving with personal well-being—it reminded me that caring for myself allows me to care better for my loved ones. This book feels like a heartfelt conversation with someone who’s been there. If you're navigating the challenges of caregiving or simply want to better understand the experience, this book is for you. It’s equal parts comfort and practical wisdom for tough times.

Encouraging
This is a book of comfort, encouragement and grace to all care givers out there. When you think you can't go on anymore, too frustrated or angry, just listening to this book can be of immense comfort. Remember it's the fault of the disease not your loved one. The book is full of practical guides and tips to help through this emotional rollercoster time of caring. I particularly like the tech tip, having a tracker in the shoe.
