Spemanns Illustrirte Knaben-Zeitung. anonym veröffentlicht: Eine Handelskarawane wird von ihrem verräterischen Führer einer Raubkarawane (Gum) in die Hände geführt. Als der Überfall erfolgen soll, erkennt der Oberräuber an einem Hamaïl, das der reiche Kaufmann trägt, den Retter seines Vaters. Statt den Mord auszuführen, nimmt er nun die Karawane unter seinen Schutz.
