Summary
Protector, warrior, angel of death.
When a stalker turns his attention to me, I turn to Jax Wilder for protection.
Owner of Platinum Security, he lives in the shadows and I live in the spotlight.
Haunted by guilt and failure, he’s a bad boy to the bone who drinks, smokes, and swears.
I’m Hollywood glamour, a lady with an image to uphold.
We couldn’t be more opposite, but I’m drawn to him.
His tattoos, his motorcycle, his gun. And the feral way he looks at me.
When my life is threatened, Jax vows to stay by my side.
He tells me he doesn’t do relationships, but my savior plays dirty, and I can’t resist his dark kisses.
At this point, I’m not sure what’s worse....
The death threats...
Or, knowing that once this is over, this Fallen Angel will walk out of my life forever, breaking my heart into a million pieces.

Awesome narration
The narrators did a great job on the voices and I found their voices pleasing to listen to. There was no distracting noises and the sound was consistent throughout. Nicely done narration.
I enjoyed this romantic suspense and would recommend it to those who are fans of the genre. It does have a situation of miscommunication which I'm not a huge fan of but it didn't last long and didn't deter from the story much for me. The detail was good and I didn't find any plot holes. The story was well written as well as the spice.
My heat rating is based on the amount of occurrence, length of scenes, how explicit the scenes are, and how filthy/ unconventional the scenes are. This rates about a 3/5 spice overall.

Enjoyable
I did enjoy this story, I do love a good romantic suspense and this didn’t disappoint, maybe it could have done with a little more suspense and a little less on the romance side but that’s just my personal preference!
Narration was great, I’m very picky about narration and these were two new narrators for me but I enjoyed both and would certainly listen to them again.
Kelly was also a new author to me but will certainly be reading more of her work and I will be very interested to listen to the next in the series

I Enjoyed It
This dark romantic thriller it's different from the romantic comedies I've read by Kelly but it hits just the right note and feels as you would expect a Film Noir detective story to feel. The characters are well-drawn and engaging and the author gives us enough information on their intriguing back stories that you feel you know them. The connection and chemistry between Jax and Easton are palpable and undeniable and when they're same room I'm sure that the temperature rises. I love how two totally opposite personalities come together and work so well, a tattooed bad boy and a film icon who would have thought it?
I don't want to give any spoilers so I'm not going to say too much more, reading the blurb will tell you the plot but what I will say is that I was totally engrossed in this well-written and wonderfully narrated story. Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliott did a great job bringing this story to vivid life for me.
I look forward to following Jax’s partners, Griff aka Griffen Lawson, an ex-CIA agent and Ryker Flynn, a former Navy SEAL, just hope they are as enjoyable as Jax's story was. I wonder too if we will meet Jax’s younger brother Sebastian, I for one hope so.

Easton and Jaxson!
Easton is a successful actress who has drawn the attention of the wrong man and the threats are escalating. Needing protection, she is referred to Jaxson however the lines between personal and professional become blurred which makes the situation even more dangerous.
A devastating loss cost Jaxson his career as a police officer so he has recently opened a security business with two friends and Easton is their first client and will help get the business off the ground. He knew that the job would be challenging but he never expected the biggest challenge to be the feelings he would have for her.
Both Jaxson and Easton have difficult pasts which has shaped them into the people they are today and does cause some turmoil. The characters draw you in, their attraction is undeniable, and the suspense only makes the story that much better. I enjoyed the performance of the narrators as they brought out the personalities of the characters and what they were going through.
