Summary

Since achieving his lifelong goal of becoming a Navy SEAL, Dane's life has been packed with action. He hasn't had the time or inclination to realize he wants and needs more. After seeing several of his closest friends fall in love with that someone special, he longs for something similar in his own life.

While on a mission hunting a chemical weapons terrorist, Dane runs into a woman who not only captivates him but fulfills his deepest desires. Unfortunately, the circumstances of her presence on the scene are more than a little suspicious. Damnably, Dane can't determine whose side she's actually on.

Marielle came to Germany for a short busman's holiday. She'd never expected to be running away from the very person she'd gone there to see - nor running into the arms of a man she's tempted to give herself to even knowing she can't keep him the way she wants to.

As the situation ping-pongs from bad to worse to utter desperation, lives - and hearts - are on the razor-edge between life and death.

Seal Love

I enjoyed the narration of Michael Rahhal

Dane finds himself helping to keep Marielle, a scientist safe Germany. Her professor, Dr.Michael's was selling their research to a company to make chemicals to kill innocent people and the SEALs had to stop them. They were moving her safehouse to safehouse keeping her safe after they tried to kidnap her. Dane and Marielle find themselves falling for each other, in between gun shots and action .

Great quick listen!

I really loved this story. Dane and Marielle made a terriffic couple. She was strong enough to stand up to him, while also letting him support her. He was absolutely wonderful; strong and a bit bossy, mostly regarding her safety, but also sweet and caring. He melted my heart with his behaviour regarding the cat (Masters).

In such a short story the relationship has to happen fast but, unlike the previous book about Hawk and Mia, it didn't feel rushed. While I guessed the twist at the end well before it happened, it didn't detract from my enjoyment.

The SEALs of honour series is pure fluff, but the stories are a nice way to pass a few hours and I like that they can easily be finished in a single session. I've already got Swede and Cooper's stories and I'm looking forward to them! It's too bad that Shadow's book isn't available on Audible.
