Effective DBT Strategies for Teens

I have experience with DBT skills and wanted to find something to help my son. He has suffered from anxiety and anger for years. This book is just what we need. The exercises are easy for him to understand and engaging. He does not fuss at not wanting to try the strategies or completing the workbook. I have seen a calmer side of him since starting. This book is great for those teens who have been suffering or just those who want to build more confidence. I highly recommend it.

It will give you space

The well-framed exercises will open your mind and give you the space you need to work on yourself. The tone is personal while at the same not not intrusive but gently directing in the right direction. An interactive approach that takes you by the hand and works well without having an actual therapist present.

helpful no matter what age

Didn’t expect to like this as much as I did. Not a teen, but DBT skills are solid no matter your age, I still had great takeaways. Super practical for handling emotions and self-doubt. Honestly, wish I had this years ago

Exactly What My Teen Needed
