It was interesting to learn how high levels of salt in modern food prep is helping to drive up our BP levels. Plus lot of the recipes at the end sound really good.

Useful health advice.
Useful health advice. But dash is essentially the same as most other nutritional plans - eat more veg, less red meat, etc. I think where Dash differs from other diets slightly is its extra emphasis on reducing your sodium intake [too much salt can raise blood pressure levels].

No-hype diet.
Anyone can start dash and see results. Cut back on fatty foods, cut way way back on salt, and lean into more moderate balanced daily eating. Reasonable advice for anyone at any age, regardless of their health background.

An honest look at dash
I must admit this was a delightful listen that I hadn’t expected all that much from at first. The authors give a lot of detail into what makes dash the best way to lose weight in a safe way without yo-yo dieting. Very interesting insights.

I’d never heard of DASH before,
I’d never heard of DASH before, in fact it reads similar to the Mediterranean diet (one that I’ve tried before). I’m excited to give this meal plan a try - especially as there are so many vegan meal ideas.
