Critic reviews

"Pimsleur programs provide plenty of positive reinforcement that will keep learners on track, and we found that Pimsleur gave us more proficiency and confidence in speaking the new language than any of the other language programs we reviewed." ( AudioFile magazine)

First impressions - amazing after just a week

I do t want to speak to early but having tried to learn Czech for over a decade and only knowing a few words, the Pilsmer method beats it into your brain by repeating the words in a conversational way. So far after a week I have doubled my Czech vocabulary and basically almost nailed the Czech pronunciation which was always the problem. The major problem I see is that pilsmer seemed to have given up after unit one and it does not have further units like other languages. So it’s amazing but so limited and it was in the edge of greatness and sadly I am afraid the content will run out in a month or so. However if I can find a Czech teacher then I’m sure I can do something similar with them to learn how to master the repetition technique on my own with the teacher. Will see, but for now it’s an incredible start to this magnificent language journey that I have embarked upon. Can’t wait to speak fluent Czech!

Terrible

Any additional comments?

This was very expensive for 4 basic lessons in Czech. Actually 3 lessons were almost the same.
You won't learn Czech here and will waste your money. Buy a good book and listen to podcasts instead.
