Summary

ABOUT THIS EPISODE

When a 911 call goes wrong and a young man goes missing, it falls to Malcolm and Seong-Jae to investigate the responding officers when Internal Affairs' internal politics leave the case compromised and the officers aren't willing to talk. But with Seong-Jae on the wrong side of the thin blue line, tensions just may turn violent before the detectives find their answers—and only their trust in each other will keep this investigation from hitting a dead end. Will Malcolm and Seong-Jae's savage love survive the test, or will this case end in self-destruction?

With Sade mysteriously vanished once more, taking one of their major assets out of commission, it's anyone's game. Especially when their missing young man becomes a dead young man . . . and no one will admit who's truly responsible for his violent demise.

Contains mature themes.

Interesting case - impending sense of doom

Mal and Seong-Jae are back on duty and pick up a most unusual case. A man is shot while attending to his elderly father, who was having a seizure on the front steps of his home - but the attending officers, who arrived before the EMTs, tell a different story, and our heroes are tasked with finding out what happened.

Seong-Jae is still struggling to deal with having killed a man in order to protect others, and continues to hide the truth about his past from Malcolm, fearing his reaction; Sila is still stirring the pot, and Sade is still AWOL.

Lots going on, but still time for some steamy smexytimes and moments of togetherness and intimacy. Oh, and for Seong Jae to meet Malcolm's parents.

I really enjoyed these stories in print, but Curt Bonnem really is bringing another layer to them - I adore his portrayals of Mal and Seong Jae, and his performances are always expressive and insighful.
