Summary
Anna is married with two children. Ten-year-old Mikey, and six-month-old Joy. Since the first lockdown struck, forcing everyone to stay indoors, her husband Graham has been declining mentally. He focuses on the horrors of what the virus has done to people, and what the conspiracy theorists predict for the future.
Despite her tiring efforts to save her marriage, when Graham starts to grow violent, she knows she cannot stay. For her safety, as well as the children. Anna takes her chance and begins to pack some essentials to leave but her husband bursts through the door, covered in blood and tells her the virus is here and it's making people crazy....
Axl Malton has written a gripping debut that is tense, taut, and violent. You don't want to miss this incredible thriller....

Shocking, gripping and scarily believable
Fantastic audio of a brutal, disturbing and horrifyingly plausible story. This book will live inside you long after finishing.
You’ll live it all with the characters as it descends deeper into madness and desperation.
Highly recommended. A real horror story for our times.

devastating
Playing on everyone's fears from lockdown 2020, this book takes what happened and asks, what if it was so much worse? From personal relationships falling apart, to viruses taking over, this story is a whirlwind of worst case scenarios. But what is the truth? And who can you trust when the norm no longer exists? This is a bit of a hard read, as it covers topics that could be an issue for some, and really ramps up towards the end to a pretty devastating finish.
