About this listen
Tinsley
I wasn’t 17 any longer, but I still had a problem—Jesse Compton kept up the pretense he was too old for me. I tried to move on, but he pulled me into his orbit. So, we rode off into the sunset of our happily ever after, right? Wrong. Fate tossed in some wicked plans in the form of a five-foot-five mafia princess and a nightmare from his troubled past, both threatening to destroy us.
Jesse
She was the most breathtaking girl I’d ever seen. Only I was all wrong for Tinsley Southerland for many reasons. If I wanted to protect her, I had to kill any attraction I possessed. Yeah. My body didn’t get that memo, and a series of reckless decisions put Tin in danger. Now I had to keep my cover and her safe while not losing my heart, my head, or our lives in the process.

Fantastic story
This audiobook is phenomenal, Narrated by Eric Bryan Moore and M.K.Blackwood..Who are absolutely Amazing giving this story life and breathing life into the characters.
I LOved listening to them telling me this story and I was riveted.
Cowboy by D.L.Lane is the full story between Jesse and Tinsley this can be read as a stand alone but I would highly recommend reading the prequel Tinsley,as you get a fuller understanding of their relationship and how it came to be.
I Thoroughly enjoyed this book it was everything and more I could have asked for...Now there is so much happening within this book along with the initial romance between Jesse aka Cowboy and Tinsley...there is also Jesse's mission to avenge his father's death.
Which becomes a huge problem within Tinsley and Jesse's relationship because he keeps it from Tin and she is left making her own assumptions of whats going on with Jesse when he pulls away from her.
We also get to read more about Jesse's background and man does he have some secrets..Tinsley has alot to take in and process.
But Tinsley has loved Jesse since she was a teenager and now that she is 20 years old she is ready to seduce Jesse and make him hers..But Jesse is so stubborn and will not relent on the age gap aspect, plus his job was dangerous and he didn't want to drag her into his complicated life.
But these two have such a strong connection and the attraction and chemistry is just too potent and its only a matter of time before he cannot resist Tinsley any longer...It becomes impossible when she starts working for his company as a secretary.
I Loved it when they finally get together and stop denying what is inevitable ..but nothing goes smoothly and they have alot to overcome before they can enjoy a HEA.
I LOved D.L Lane's writing it is so perfect and kept me on the edge of my seat and guessing until the end.I felt like I was taken on a real romantic adventure..because there is suspense, action and some shocks, along with all the love and heated moments.
I am now already eagerly awaiting Reaper which is book 2...I Love Gabe..I can't wait.
Cowboy is a brilliant audiobook the writing is excellent and the Narration is Superb.
Loved it

Amazing story and a brilliant narration
What an exciting, action-packed and entertaining audio book!
I was captivated from the first to the last minute.
Cowboy is an interesting character who plots his revenge for his murdered father. Tinsley has been in love with him since they were young and it takes time for them to become a couple. Can they be happy together or will Jesse's work always stand between them?
The book was narrated by two brilliant narrators who did a great job.
I am really looking forward to the next book in this series!

Jesse & Tinsley
4.5 stars
D. L. Lane is a truly talented author and I have been looking forward to Cowboy since I listened to Tinsley many, many months ago.
Jesse is a former Navy Seal that now uses his skills to bring bad people to justice through his new security company Delta Security. He’s also lucky enough to work with his team mates - who we’ll get to know in the next books in the series (besides Cooper, who we met in All I Ever Needed.
Tinsley is a lot younger than Jesse, but has never been able to fall out of love with him since their passionate kiss during Copper and Alli’s wedding several years ago. And neither has Jesse.
This book takes us through an emotional and exhilarating and action packed rollercoaster. At times I found there were a few chapters that could have been skipped as they did not add much to the story. Tinsley’s age and immaturity was also quite evident when she could not understand why Jesse could not tell her what he was up to considering his line of business. But it was also understandable as he could have just explained the situation rather then hiding it.
The narrators were absolutely brilliant. Eric Bryan Moore gives his voice to the stoic, brooding Jesse; whilst M. K Blackwood narrates the sweet and strong willed Tinsley.
