About this listen
A magical sleigh ride. A mysterious detour. Will her holiday be marked by garlands or gravestones?
Imogen feels like she’s buried under an avalanche of secrets. Caught up in puzzling out her mysterious origins and her confusing emotions for Prince Hank, she hopes a magical holiday retreat with friends will take her mind off her troubles. But when a roadway ambush steers their sleigh off course, she must stay the night in a quaint little village veiled in secrets of its own....
Partying alongside her bakery friends and handsome prince at the mayor’s ball, Imogen finally pushes aside her uncertain visions to soak in the holiday spirit. But the merriment comes to an abrupt halt after a dead body floats to the surface of a cauldron of punch.
When the angry townsfolk point their pitchforks at her friend, Imogen must shovel through layers of mysteries to find the real killer before innocent blood runs cold.
Cookie Dough, Snow & Wands Aglow is the fourth book in the Spells & Caramels paranormal cozy mystery series. If you like enchanted friendships, a sprinkling of romance, and twists you won’t see coming, then you’ll love Erin Johnson’s snow-dusted whodunit.

This book gets you all aglow
I really enjoyed this book and think it is another great story to add to a brilliant and humours series. I think the characters are so much fun and there is always a chuckle to be found somewhere as well as a very good mystery, that everybody helps to solve.
The Royal baker team are on the way to London when they have to take an unexpected diversion to a small charming town but things are not what they seem. Imogen starts to find burnt down building that know body else can see and things have a strange habit of glowing. Stuck in the town they have no choice but to stay and attend the Mayor ball with there quaint traditions. When a man dies in one of the party games the town folk start to look at the new visitor in tow. Then another man is killed and a building is set and fire and the villages start to form a mob carrying pitch forks. Can Imogen prove they are not to blame? Will they discover why things are glowing and why Horace (the leader of the Bad Lands) diverted them to the town in the first place?
I really like the narrator as she make each character fun.

Sweet magical tale
Another great book in the series. Kept me a little on my toes as a few twists came as a surprised. Iggy again had me chuckling, I honestly could listen to a spin off series about his adventures.
Enjoyed every moment and about to download the next book in the series. It’s been a delight!

Mysteries abound
This installment in the series raises a lot of questions about Imogen & where she comes from. The royal party are diverted by magical means to a small village where Imogen keeps seeing things that others don't. Imogen, Iggy, Maple, Prince Hank and the others find themselves wrapped up in another murder and have to clear their names, fast.
I liked learning a little more about Imogen & her birth family. Another light, fast paced listen :)
