After years of feeling that love was always out of reach, journalist Natasha Lunn set out to understand how relationships work and evolve over a lifetime. She turned to authors and experts to learn about their experiences, as well as drawing on her own, asking: How do we find love? How do we sustain it? And how do we survive when we lose it?
In Conversations on Love she began to find the answers:
Philippa Perry on falling in love slowly
Dolly Alderton on vulnerability
Stephen Grosz on accepting change
Candice Carty-Williams on friendship
Lisa Taddeo on the loneliness of loss
Diana Evans on parenthood
Emily Nagoski on the science of sex
Alain de Botton on the psychology of being alone
Esther Perel on unrealistic expectations
Roxane Gay on redefining romance
and many more...

Daisy Edgar-Jones, star of Normal People

Comforting - highly recommend
I enjoyed the conversational aspect of this, so many brilliant insights and comforting stories about people's experiences around love, loss and grief, helping to normalise and understand these experiences and an insight to make the most of what you have and how to better navigate difficult times, support yourself and others. Delicate subjects are approached with such honesty and care, this is very much like a comfort blanket.

Soft, considered and kind
This book is full of understanding and wide explorations on the complexities of love of all kinds. It came along just at the right time in my life, just as I needed a reminder that we are all full of contradictions, that we are human and can live in dualities. The voices are clear to listen to making it an enjoyable listen.

Transformative
I had great expectations for this book, based on the blurb and reviews. But it superceded them by far! The range of types of love and stages of life and the various personalities.... I resonated with some, empathised with and learnt from others. I feel this is a book which speaks to everyone. During and after listening to it I wanted to share it with my loved ones. If you are psychologically minded, don't hesitate to take the journey with this book and all the people you will meet in it.
