Getting Help From ADHD

This audiobook breaks down the differences between men and women with ADHD. It goes over treatment options with medicine, therapy, and self help strategies. It’s straight talk and comes off sounding like something a doctor friend might suggest to help deal with the symptoms of ADHD.

Worth getting

In my opinion this is a decent audio-book and worth getting and listening to if you have ADHD. It will help you to enhance your understanding of yourself and realise that your struggles are quite normal. It mentions a variety of treatments and interventions that can start to help.

Good information which could help those with ADHD

The audiobook contained a lot of information about ADHD, and why women could have additional stressors, workplace demographics, family issues, etc. I believe the audiobook would be beneficial for anyone with ADHD. My favorite parts where the suggestions 'readers' could make when confronted with different situations.
My only hesitation about this book is that seems to have originally been a workbook, and as such has parts that were fill in the blanks. This doesn't translate well to an audiobook, and it made the narration seem choppy at points.
