Great Strategies for Surviving Toxic Workplace
I could relate to sooooo many things in this audiobook. I was shocked by how prevalent toxic workplaces are; I had no idea it was so widespread. I found the author to be very empathetic to people currently "stuck: in a negative and toxic workplace and that was very comforting. More importantly, I found her strategies on how to set boundaries and not let my job affect my mental health very smart and reasonable. I am currently working on taking these steps for myself at my job and am feeling hopeful fo the first time.

Enlightening!
I've just finished this book, and honestly, it feels like I've been given a secret playbook. Every day in the office is like wading through mud, heavy and exhausting. But this book speaks to you like a coach on the sidelines, believing in you when you've lost faith. It doesn't sugarcoat the grind; it acknowledges the sweat and the tears, equipping you with strategies, small shifts in thinking and acting that add up. It's about carving a space for yourself where you're not just surviving but thriving. I used to dread Monday mornings, but now I've got steps to take back my enthusiasm. This isn't just about enduring a job; it's about cultivating a career that energizes rather than drains.

Nothing Worse Than a Toxic Workplace
I really wish I had this audiobook a few years ago when I was dealing an extremely toxic workplace environment that was not only ruining my desire to go to work but effecting personally at home with high levels of anxiety, stress, and depression. It literally was crushing my soul. I that all changed after the firing of my manager, but the negative thoughts and emotions still live with me. Therefore, I was excited to listen to listen to this audiobook as it all still resonates with me today. For me now, I really loved learning how to become more assertive and deal with different behaviors that made me feel so terrible. I also learned how to continue my recovery from my past experience which at times can truly feel like PTSD. Thank you for this book!
