Summary

This is a simple guide to conjuring the Goetic spirits. This book was originally published in 1999, but this audio version contains a lot of new material that was only released in an ultra-rare private second edition. This includes some very powerful techniques for opening up the inner planes more effectively.

A Good Introduction to the Goetia

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

A good overview & relevant to the stage of interest I currently have. It's approach is focused as a tool to work with the shadow self & 'the great mystery'. So it's perfectly suitable for anyone who tends to get frightened by the word 'demon' for all its past connotations.

There overall tone is that of developing respect & using symbol to speak to symbol, allowing the individuals' self concept to become self aware at a deeper level, as a part of the process of such reflections.

Have you listened to any of Jason Augustus Newcomb’s other performances? How does this one compare?

He does a good job of reading through his own work, my issue is that the quality is possibly analogue (recorded on tape) to begin with as there are missing snippets of sound. But for that (sale) price & the info, I can live with it. I'm glad there was something out there as useful & succinct as this in fact.

Any additional comments?

I would love a more in depth review of practices & experiences from the author & including other practitioners if possible.
