Summary
Jasmine knows she can easily protect the famous and charming singer Kaleb Quinn, but how will she resist him?
While performing one night, Kaleb Quinn claims he’s engaged to the woman of his dreams, Jasmine Peters, to escape frenzied fans. Just after the announcement is made, a vicious stalker promises to kill two people if Kaleb doesn’t follow through. Marrying Jasmine is more than he’s ever dared hope for; the trouble is, she’s been hired to protect him, not play the role of his wife. He soon realizes his new wife might be the ultimate threat to his heart.
Jasmine Peter’s deadly career makes it impossible for her to fall in love. But will that change when she’s required to marry Kaleb Quinn as part of his protection detail? Luckily, Jasmine is much too smart to fall for the perfect man.

Second in series
This book was better than the first in the series although along the same lines. Woman meets man, contrived circumstances throw them together etc…
The normal narration was drawn out but I played this at 1.2 speed and was much better.
I will probably get the third in the series.

insta love at its best
It was refreshing to have a music star story that didn't involve drugs, alcohol and endless women. this kind hearted country man knew what he wanted and didn't give up till he got the girl. its a bit mushy in places but maybe that's just because don't come across too many fellas who are able to articulate their feelings, butnits to be expected in a romance. the characters were likeable and it was good it hear from characters from the previous book.
the narration was great, good variation of voices for the different characters. all in all it was an enjoyable listen. if you're looking for romance without the 'spice/chilli peppers' factor, then these books are for you.

From start to finish enjoyed
Full of sentiment based on love and family. Following on from book one, we have Jasmine and Kaleb as the fighting, irresistible couple.. to get to the outcome go on read it.

Too much "above". Too religious for my taste. Good story but that's it. Good thing it's not too long

So irritating
This was so irritating, it is poorly writen, characters fall DEEPLY in love after one look, without any build up. Characters keep nagging over and over and over again, about the same issues that stands in their way and there is absolutely no development is the way the view or handle their problems and issues.
Narrator is ok, trying his best to make this crap exciting, but that is not an easy job.

Good performance
Too soppy, wayyyyy tooo annoyingly religious. The narrator was fine but man the 'good lord above' and 'jesus loves you' wrecked it for me.i won't be reading the rest of this series

short story with no real build up
we all know we're reading trash romance for the pay off. and we all know the books are going to skirt reality. but I've never said "oh feck off!" out loud so many times while reading this one (bad book one of Quinn romance).
it's just way too silly and over the top. not sure I'll bother with the rest unless I'm stuck at an airport or something

Very repetitive and poorly written
This Christian romance was really poorly written and very repetitive. I did listen to the end, but afterwards I wondered why….

Disappointing
I really enjoyed Book 1 and looked forward to getting to know the entire Quinn family
This one just dragged on and on, with Jasmine forever blowing hot and cold. By the time the plot (predictability) developed I'd lost all empathy for the characters.
I won't be listening to the rest of the series
On a more positive note, the narrator did his best with the material he'd been given. I will be searching for more by him
