Summary
Good and bad. Right and wrong. Life would be easy if things were always that simple.
That’s never been the case for Henri Boudreaux. Son of a criminal. Ex-boyfriend to a priest. Henri's made a career out of getting in trouble and avoiding the law. So, when he winds up in bed with it, he knows that things are about to get...complicated.
But what’s life without taking a few risks? And what’s a risk without the threat of being caught? No one's ever accused Henri of being good man. And officer Craig Bailey is about to find out just how bad he can be.

Another great Confession series book
Having listened to this book second time around, I can tell this books do not disappoint. It's all you ever want in a book: hot sex, relationship and emotions that will leave you wanting more. Plus great narration makes it even better.

Henri
This is a solid continuation of the Confessions series. Now we've left Robbie, Julian, and Priest, and we're following the side characters Henri and Bailey - the bad boy and the cop.
It's not too plot-heavy, but we get to see a lot more of Henri and Priest's history which is very dark and exciting to read. Bailey is more of a mystery, and at the moment he seems a bit too perfect for me.
Charlie David delivers a stellar performance as usual, I honestly can't fault his narration at all. He's perfect for the tone of these books and he makes every character clearly defined.

I loved it
I was intrigued by Henri when he was introduced in the previous books and I was so excited when I heard this book was releasing I couldn't wait to dive in. I will admit it ....I loved Henri. This story gave me all the feels. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, the story was heartbreaking at times, sweet at times and steamy at other times. The chemistry between Henri and Bailey was intense, you could feel the tension crackling between them and in true Ella Frank style, the steamy scenes were off the charts HOTT. Henri and Bailey both won my heart and from the instant they met and I was hooked and glued to the pages of the novel. I loved the cameo appearances by Logan, Priest and Robbie.
The story finished a little to quickly for me and I wished it was longer. I cannot wait for Bailey's story as I definitely want more of these guys. I loved this novel and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of MM romance.
I listened to the audiobook version of this novel which was narrated by Charlie David. He did an exceptional job with these characters. His pace and timing was excellent and he brought out the different personalities of the characters. It was a pleasure listening to him narrate this novel.

So good!!
As soon as I heard Henri’s name, I knew there was a story there, and we needed it! Of course Ella delivered and Charlie David did an amazing job bringing Henri and Bailey to life. Charlie’s narration really pulled me into the story. Henri had such a rough life with so much baggage - never feeling safe or that he belonged anywhere. Until he met Bailey. These two had smoking hot chemistry constantly boiling under the surface when together. A fantastic opposites attract with some suspense thrown in! I loved being able to get some glimpses of some of my favorites from The Confession and Temptation series! I can’t wait to get started on the final book of the series to learn more about Bailey!

Confessions keeps us interested
I really love that we get to learn more about these side characters. And while there is some of the usual drama that comes from the history of the characters this still an easy and pleasant read. Ella just has that way about the writing. And Charlie David’s performance really makes the whole thing. I enjoyed it a lot and look forward to reading about the rest of characters.
