Love that one of my favourite series is now on audible
Vanessa Nelson is an amazing author so happy her books are on audible. Her series are all different with amazing world building and pure adventure with a smattering of romance.

My favourite Vanessa Nelson series brought to life
Really pleased to see this in audiobook format. It’s another way to enjoy this superb series. The narrator does a pretty good job. Her male voices are great. I often forgot it was a female narrator. A couple of things jarred initially with me. I had completely imagined Zachary with a different accent so was surprised to hear a regional accent applied to him. I also thought Tamara was pronounced different, as in Ta-MA-ra. Instead we got TA-ma-ra. I eventually got used to it and enjoyed the rest of the narration.

Great listen
It is some time since I originally read this book.
Listening to the story It was just as good as I remembered, and the narrator did an excellent job of voicing the various characters to match how I had imagined them.

Loved it!
if you like an underdog who has secrets hiding secrets, you'll enjoy this. Vanessa Nelson writes a fantastic MFC who you totally get behind.
