fine
If you are like me and need something to relate every time you run into a different word then I recommend this book. Ive met Ian Neil myself and he has a different way of explaining terms that will stick to you. But overall both of his books are great way to study for the exam.

does not give any insight on what you need to know
Doesn't give any information on what you need to learn for the exam. I could have easily found this info on the CompTIA site.

This is absolutely diabolical
The questions repeat themselves and doesn't cover any security + core principles and too short

Inaccurately Marketed
This isn’t a ‘beginners’ book, but would be good in principle as a book AFTER a beginners book.
The narration is quite rushed and the editor forgot to do their job - whenever the narrator fluffs his lines, he stops and starts again - the editor forgot to cut these out. That’s very distracting. The audiobook skips some key fundamentals which if they had been included (IP addresses for a start!), if the narrator slowed down a bit and if the editor actually edited it... this could be a great audiobook. Maybe they’ll do a second edition.
