About this listen
By NYT and USA Today best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow
Terminally ill, Cassandra Nevin has come to the ocean to live out her days on a boat with a bunch of scientists who don't even know she's sick - or that she's not even a scientist. When something from the depths of the abyss attacks their boat, leaving her to drown, she knows it's her time. But then the unimaginable happens - she lives.
Iason the Hunter doesn't understand why the woman he's trying to save from death seems insistent he save anyone but her. Duty bound to try and rescue whoever he can; he takes the woman into Deep Ocean, to his home beneath the waves. But it would seem a watery grave wasn't the only thing threatening his new charge's life. To try and save her from her illness would mean possible disgrace and being banned from ever swimming in the ocean again. But what else can he do? From the first moment he saw her, she had command over his heart.
Rating: Contains graphic sexual content, adult language, and violence.

Brilliant adaptation
This imaginative series improves with each story. Cassandra is dying so when the ship she is on is wrecked, she fights the mere who is trying to save her. For Iason it is love at first sight, why is she fighting him telling him to save someone else. This is a brilliant second story in this series. I love Michelle M Pillow's work.

Excellent book
Loved this book, sexy hot, exciting and very well written. I enjoyed listening to this narrator very much, she was clear, concise and the changing of the tone of her voice was excellent.
I would recommend this book to anyone over the age of 18.

Enjoyable tale
This is book two in the series, though the story runs concurrently with the first book and not in sequence, you therefore find that there is some repetition of the tale though from a different point of view.
The story centres around Cassie who is dying from an aggressive cancer, when she is tossed into the sea but rescued by a Mer.
A good story with interesting characters and an action packed plot.

Love under the sea.
This book follows Cassandra who is saved by Eason. She was on the same boat as Bridget but she’s ill and the healer advises Eason to take her to his home to heal her. Although Cassandra accepts some things Eason tells her there’s other things she thinks are all in his mind. She can’t let herself fall in love with Eason as she doesn’t want to hurt him when he dies so she runs away and is caught by psychotic Maya and her floozy band of mermaids .

The Merman and his Red Headed Beauty
You really can’t go wrong with a Michelle M Pillow story and this is one of my favourite series. Great characters, fantastic world building and some really nasty baddies in the form of the beautiful Olympians! Loved Iason and Cassandra’s story and with wonderful narration from Rebecca Cook this is easily a 5* read!

meh
she has better series. I actually had to stop reading until the last chapter. I don't enjoy listening about woman trying to be dominant to men. not my thing.
