About this listen
"Enoughness" typically refers to a sense of satisfaction or having an adequate amount of something, whether it's material possessions, accomplishments, or personal fulfillment. We all want to be the best we can be. However, our negative inner critic is the disrupter. The average person will have 60,000 to 90,000 thoughts a day. Of those thoughts, 70-85% of our daily thoughts are negative. So who is this negative inner critic spewing false information in our head and driving our behavior all day and night? Well, my friend, it is you.
Our negative inner critic is disrupting that process or keeping us from being the best authentic self. If the brain does not have an answer to fit the situation, it will actually make up an answer to justify the situation, even if it is not true. Our negative critic will run those thoughts throughout our entire life. Our behavior is about how that negative self-talk impacts our behavior, hopes, and dreams. It’s a scientific fact, but there are many who still tend to believe those negative thoughts, even if they are not true.
Most of those thoughts come from what we observed in our family of origin as a young child. Now, with the emotions and logic of a seven-year-old, those thoughts are driving our bus and have been doing so for decades. Isn’t it about time you changed the negative self-talk from our inner critic and silence them for good? Now that you are an adult, this book will provide insight, understanding and, more importantly, solutions that really work backed by scientific proof and research.
