Summary

great story terrible narration!
I am really enjoying the story line but the narration is terrible. It sounds like a computer generated voice.

Killed by narrator
I really wanted to enjoy this, it it had all the hallmarks of something i would enjoy, but unfortunately i couldn`t finish it. I lasted just shy of 4 hours or a third of the books length and had to stop. The issue wasn't the story which was just starting to ramp up a it, but he narration. I had to say he did the accents well, the issue was all the bits in-between dialogue was so profoundly dully delivered that i found it impossible to contrate on words he he was saying which meant i kept zoning out and having to go back to listen again. After 4 hours i gave up.

Russian Names Wrong
Part way through now and just wanted to warn that the Russian names don’t follow gendering conventions properly, very confusing until you realise what’s going on - eg Lebedev is female, Danilova or something at the start is male.
Narrator is so-so, accents not great, will update when finished.

I think the story was good
the narrator made this difficult for me. his tone and reading style meant that I kept drifting off and not paying attention. the parts I did focus on were good and I think if I see this as a physical book I will read it.
This performance however was not for me
