About this listen

Introducing the brilliant and brave new heroine from the wonderful world of the best-selling and award-winning Jacqueline Wilson.

Clover Moon's imagination is her best escape from a life of hardship in poverty-stricken Victorian London. When tragedy plunges her into a world of grief, Clover realises that everything she loved about the place she called home is gone.

Clover hears of a place she could run to, but where will she find the courage - and the chance - to break free? And could leaving her family be just what she needs to find a place that really feels like home?

Clover Moon is a great girl!

A good-sized read for older children. I’m an adult but I love Jacqueline Wilson for an easy read. I’m not as keen on her historical novels as I am her modern novels with older characters, but I liked Clover Moon and wanted to find out what happened to her.

Another masterpiece

Opened up your eyes on the hardship, poverty, cruelty, and abuse faced being born in the Victorian day in a poor family. As always, I love the way Jacqueline writes her stories.

Lovely Story 👍🏻❤️❤️❤️

This is a brilliant story line and such a powerful tale. I hated Mildred as she was so cruel to Clover however Miss Smith was so kind.
I found Miss Ainsley and Miss Smith’s voice a bit annoying but it was still very enjoyable. I think Mr Dolly and Mr Rivers were nice and overall the story and performance was 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Good but sad

Clover Moon was good but very sad, as the mother and sister die.

I liked how Clover was brave and adventurous and I like the moral
