About this listen

After a hectic summer running her beach café in Cornwall, Evie Flynn is looking forward to her first Christmas with new boyfriend, Ed. But when Ed’s ex suddenly gets in touch again, and some unexpected guests arrive: Ed’s surly brother, Jake, and Evie’s heartbroken best friend, Amber, Evie’s Christmas starts to look as if it’ll be a total turkey. Will any of her festive wishes come true?

I actually loved this listen, as I have followed Evie and Ed's story at the Beach cafe.

This was a lovely festive listen but it was very short at just under 2 hours.

I enjoy Lucy Diamond's writing, she is a good author and I will only ever listen to UNABRIDGED RECORDINGS because that is what the author intended and who wants to listen to a book with most of it missing!

The narrator did her job well. I am glad that I bought this in the £2.99 Sale as I would not have paid full price for a 2 hour book. There was alot more to write about in this book, so I am surprised it ended prematurely in my opinion✨

Too short-not value for money

It was a nice short story, but no real depth to follow in Evie's story.

I enjoyed this short story. I am glad that I listened to The Beach Cafe first because it was like meeting old friends and learning how things were working out. I hope there will be further stories in the future.

this is the second book in the series, it was a lovely uplifting story. only criticism is it's too short. The narrator was great very clear and easy to listen to. I would definitely recommend and I can't wait to listened to the next book in the series.

Great Book
