Summary
Taming of the Sheenans, book one: Since the loss of her family in a plane crash, Harley Diekerhoff has led a quiet life and keeps to herself. Taking the temporary job at the Copper Mountain Ranch as widower Brock Sheenan's housekeeper seems perfect for her. But her calm cocoon is invaded with the arrival of Brock's preteen twins, Mack and Molly, who've never experienced a proper Christmas, and before she knows it Harley's determined to make their holiday perfect.
Annoyed at first by Harley's interference, Brock is secretly pleased she's changed Mack and Molly's world. It doesn't hurt that he finds Harley incredibly attractive, fierce, smart, and passionate. It's also an added bonus that she's not afraid to challenge him and get his blood heated! But when sparks fly, and the attractions sizzles between them, Harley's not so sure she can handle something permanent with this dark, taciturn cowboy who doesn't know how to let her in. But Brock is determined to hold on to her and pray for a Christmas miracle...

Lovely Old Fashioned Story
A traditional old Fashioned romance! Very sweet! And the narration reminds me of Meg Ryan in ,"You've Got Mail"!

Really heartwarming
This story hangs together well. I loved every character, although I felt Brock got away with too much.
I presume the author hasn’t lost a child though. The language wasn’t quite right.

Sweet but not substantial despite the hard topic of loss
I got sucked into this one by the Christmas theme. This is a meet cute novel which covers the effects of bereavement on people.
I am not bowled over by the domestic goddess stereotype and the strong terse cowboy but hey I am a modern European it just might not cross the pond that well. The reader performance was good. She saved it.

Heart warming and uplifting.
This was a lovely heart warming story. God brought two people together who did not realise how much they needed each other. Brock and Harly’s story was a great start to this series. I came across this series by accedent thanks to the audible plus catalogue and i am looking forward to more.

Awful narration
Enjoyable story, which was let down by the narration. Too many pauses, Hayley instead of Harley, and many more

Couldn't get past chapter three, 80mins was enough
Basically drama, rudeness & fighting for the first 3 chapters with some creepy lusting about his housekeeper & the housekeeper feeling sad & angry ,slow boring descriptions ,nothing interesting really & the narration didn't help either.Maybe it gets better, but I didn't want to wait it out, 80mins was enough for me! Glad this was free, I know not to waste a credit on another book from this series. If you're looking for something that's more wholesome ,less graphic, funny & actually entertaining Seatmate: Love Lines, Book 3 By: Cara Bastone & Sweet Talk are on the Plus catalogue.
