About this listen

All she wants for Christmas…

When talented artist Nee Sutherland returns to Butterfly Cove for her sister’s wedding, it’s only a matter of time before she has to face her own bridegroom – Luke Spenser – the man she impulsively married, then left in the middle of the night.

Nee hasn’t picked up her paintbrushes in months, a part of her is broken. She knows Luke might never forgive her, leaving him was the biggest mistake of her life – but could coming home for Christmas be the best decision she’s ever made?

Maybe all she needs is a little Christmas miracle…

A delightfully feel-good festive romance, perfect for fans of Trisha Ashley, Rachael Lucas and Hilary Boyd.

Loved it!!!

I've just finished listening to all 3 parts of the trilogy and was totally hooked from the first minute! The stories of the 3 sisters are hung on the central location of Mia's house at Butterfly Cove. The stories are charming, engrossing and addictive. Always lovely, never cheesey as they include tragedy, a despicable husband and abuse within the art world but with a base of supportive family and perfect romance.
I now want to move to Butterfly Cove and have 2 sisters!
Next book please Sarah....

P.S would make a fantastic Sunday evening TV series!!

Wonderful story

It was a lovely and heartwarming book, honoured by the first two. The story was every bit as beautiful and touching as the others.

All the Butterfly Cove books were an easy listen and just enough to take the listener to a place of comfort in this mad world we live in

*Family*

This is the last instalment of the Butterfly Cove series. Each book in the trilogy concentrates on each sister. Mia the eldest. Kiki in the middle and Nee the youngest. This time although the other characters feature the main characters are Nee the youngest sister of Mia and Kiki and Luke the younger brother of Aaron. They met and it quickly became a whirlwind relationship that saw them getting married on impulse. Nee is an artist who has been hankering for her dream job. The day after the marriage she receives a message that her dream job has come up in America. She leaves Luke asleep and goes on her travels without a word.

She never takes any of his calls and that was that in her mind although she cannot get him out of her mind. When her eldest sister Mia is due to get married Nee decides to go. It is not until she arrives that she runs straight into Luke. He has been distraught as she was the one for him. And to bump into her is more than she or Luke can take. No-one knew about the marriage and that she was there was a connection.

There is drama, soul searching, tears and a surprise for someone as Christmas approaches will Luke and Nee sort out their feelings and we find out why she left America and it is the reason that she has stopped painting.

All in all it was a cozy read that melted my heart.

Sugar sweet and happy ending

Well... we do need our ‘feel good’ books that are easy to listed. I got what I had hoped for. But... for all the narrators out there - these are audio books that are listened when on the bus, train, airplane... when shopping or walking on a busy street! Please... think about it! Don’t suddenly begin to whisper! It is good when you vary the way you speak, but not when you vary the volume! I am tired on constantly fiddling with the volume button...

Not for me

I didn't enjoy this book, I slept through most of it and couldn't wait for the end, I thought it was a funny ending

Ruined by narrator

Could someone please tell Ms Rachel Bavidge that she could show different characters in other way than putting on cliche accents. We get it, you can do accents, well done. Now can we focus on the story and not your pantomime skills?
Giving a character a heavy regional accent might work for some genres but really ruins a romance.
The leading men in all this series ended up sounding like farmers and car mechanics, the kind that never left the back streets of whatever small town. Come on! That's not sexy.

I enjoyed it...but

it was too predictable. As soon as you realised there were 3 sisters and 3 friends the outcome was evident. Saying that it was a good listen. Loved the narrator.
