Sometimes you just need a little Christmas magic to make your wishes come true...
When master chocolatier, Charlee, takes the leap to move to the picturesque seaside town of Whitsborough Bay, she is determined to follow in her grandfather's footsteps and set up a chocolate shop.
Luckily, she finds the perfect location for Charlee's Chocolates on beautiful Castle Street... Now she just has to refurbish it in time for Christmas!
With a useless boyfriend and countless DIY disasters, Charlee doesn't know if she'll make it in time. With no 'traditional' family to support her, she feels lost in her new surroundings and the secrets of the past are weighing her down.
But the warmth and festive spirit of the Whitsborough Bay community will surprise her, and when plumber, Matt, comes to the rescue, it might be that all of Charlee's dreams could come true this Christmas, and she could learn what family really means...
The perfect uplifting, festive listen from million-copy bestseller Jessica Redland.

*Hopes and Dreams*
This is a tale of misunderstandings, heartbreak and a touch of comedy
Charlee abandoned by her birth her mum and brought up by her grandparents. With no siblings they are a family of 3. She has a childhood best friend and all seems well until her family slowly shrinks to just her.
She loves chocolate and is trained by the man who is French and is like her surrogate father. His daughter is very frosty, why?
Without saying more we see Charlee who is now a master chocolatier trying to find true love and the heartbreak that comes with finding the one, will she get her wish? What is on the horizon….
I recommend the accompanying audio narration to the kindle version

Loved it
A beautiful, at times heartbreaking story with the best ending. Totally adored it, though it gave me terrible chocolate cravings! I adore the Whitsborough bay stories, especially the Castle street stories. A gorgeous, feel good book from one of my favourite contemporary authors.

Escapism at its best, a lovely
cosy love story. Narrated well, the characters become so real, a clever writer.

Love Jessicas mind
Another great book with the usual slight practicability but for most the background story is so original although you can predict the ending the middle of the book is great with back story you wouldn’t guess

who is that dreadful narrator?
I really struggled with the dreadful voice of the narrator, I almost gave up in the 1st chapter. Ok story line but very predictable

Bring Back Lucy Brown as Narrator!
The story is brilliant, but my goodness I struggled with this narrator. I assume the wonderful Lucy Brown who usually narrates this series was unavailable. However, why select someone whose voice is high pitched, over excited, and extremely childlike. She is more suited to narrating children’s books. It was so irritating! It is a testament to how excellent the story line is that I endured the narration to finish the story!
