Summary

China Girl spins a tale of a far-right Trumplandian dystopia. This new thriller asks “what if?” in an explosive story.

A fascist administration rounds up undesirables. Terrorist groups strike governmental and religious targets. The constitution is under assault. Erec Stebbins’s China Girl is a controversial look at an America that is all too close to reality, radioactive in its timely examination of extremism in the nation.

China Girl is a political techno-thriller with international and crime elements, very topical to current events, touching on biotechnology, anti-democratic movements, and the rights of marginalized groups (especially immigrants) in Western societies. It picks up four years after the election of white nationalist and demagogue Daniel Suite.

Deep State operatives and domestic terrorists battle to thwart an increasingly genocidal regime hell-bent on “whitewashing” America through ethnic cleansing by any means necessary.

"A fascinating, action-packed adventure...explores the dangerous ramifications of persecution and marginalization through a wide variety of well-rounded, thought-provoking characters...will have every reader taking a step back to consider the far-reaching implications of our current political, cultural, and national climate." (Manhattan Book Review)

“A monster new talent in the thriller genre...” (Allan Leverone, author of Final Vector and The Lonely Mile)

terrible terrible narration

The awful narration completely distracts from this story and prevents any sense of emerson in the narrative. His intonation is terrible, its delivered with exactly the same pattern of delivery for every sentance and every sentance has a rising inflection so sounds like a question. His overly long pauses on every comma break any flow and there is no nuance or attempt to make the characters spoken words sound natural.

I honestly thought it was a computer rendered narration initially, except I think some computer renders might be better than this now.

Dear Rick, dont give up the day job.... you aren't cut out to be a voice actor.

Dear Erec, get a better deal from Audible if this is what they do to your work.
