Enjoyable

A good addition to the Team Greywolf series. I found the tale engrossing with loveable characters. The recording was easy to listen to though you had to sometimes concentrate hard with the accent, but it did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the tale.

Shifter Romance - Sweet, Sexy and a Little Mutated

Eva Gordon has a fantastic imagination. She has created a wolf shifter subculture that exists within the world we live in. It has its own expectations, hierarchy and rules. Additionally there are humans who traverse this culture with awareness and respect. Funnily, it might be the author herself who does not quite agree with the lycan culture and behaviour because she seems to delight in creating characters that challenge the status quo. Chernobyl Wolf's protagonists are no exception. It is perhaps relevant to note that while this audiobook is part of a series, it is entirely stand alone. There are characters who are featured in previous books and while it may be interesting and helpful to know their stories, it isn't necessary.

The Chernobyl Wolf is the alpha of alphas, Lev. Lev is a survivor, the last of his pack and the only one to survive the Chernobyl disaster. Despite being stronger and faster than most other alphas, he is leery of the rules of lycan society and exists on the periphery. Rachel is a survivor too. Aa a human, she exists outside of the lycan society and isn't even aware of it. Unbeknownst to her, her blood sings to Lev's wolf. Their chemistry is instantaneous though she does not realise her genetics is a beacon to all alphas, even the ones with nefarious intentions. Who better than the Chernobyl Wolf to keep the spirited human safe?

If you like your paranormal romances to be sexy and sweet, with suspense and a twist, this book definitely ticks all the boxes. I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to Team Greywolf and look forward to whatever Eva Gordon has coming up next!
