About this listen

Thomas Walsh knows the number-one rule in the film industry: Don't get involved with the talent. But resisting the urge to take the big screen to the bedroom can be hell when the lead actor on the set looks good enough to eat...one slow lick at a time.

Peter Erickson's latest role as a gay man hits a little too close to home. He's still in the closet and secretly grieving the death of his lover. Then an enchanting production assistant catches his eye, and he's surprised by the instant attraction that stirs more than his wounded soul. When the two men are caught on camera in a very intimate pose, both Thomas and Peter are afraid they've caught a tiger by the tail.

This was my first book by Gabbi Grey and I enjoyed it. I liked her easy going writing style and quickly got into the story.
Peter is a well-known actor who meets Thomas, a production assistant, on set. Both men have pasts and both men are cagey about their sexual attitudes. As the two eat ice cream on the beach, a picture is snapped that is pretty explicit and it quickly goes public.

I liked this sweet love story of an insta-love. The two together are hot and also very likable. Unfortunately, due to the shortness of the book, it lacks a bit of depth, and Thomas and Peter's past is only scratched at on the surface.

The audiobook was narrated by Michael Dean and, as always, he was a pleasure to listen to. He read the story emotionally and with different voices. As always, perfect. Michael made the story just that little bit sweeter.

I requested a free review copy of this audiobook and this is my honest opinion.

A sweet and short story

this book has no angst and was a nice easy listen. I did listen to book 2 and enjoyed seeing where this couple ended up.

This was a great little story. It’s a coming-out and insta-love with fairly little angst. I really enjoy books of this length because I can easily finish them in one evening. Michael Dean did his usual great job with his performance of the audiobook.

I’ll be checking out more stories by this author!

A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me at my request but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.

An adorable age gap, out for you, instalove story performed well by Michael Dean.
Both Peter and Thomas are in the closet and have stuff from their pasts to overcome so there's a dash of hurt comfort there.
I'd have liked a slightly longer timeline but that's just my preference and really like the MC's so it didn't matter too much.

Catch a Tiger by the Tail is a short but beautiful opposites attract, age gap love story. Thomas is a production assistant on the film in which actor Peter Erikson is starring. Both men have secrets and both men have pasts they need to come to terms with. But it’s an instalove, fairytale type romance so get on board because it moves fast, but that doesn’t diminish the emotional impact.

Michael Dean narrates here and brings his extensive experience, acting abilities and vocal chops to the audio booth. While he does his usual errific narrating in almost every respect, I did feel his delivery was a bit too strong for these two vulnerable men. But overall, the novella is sweet and enjoyable and Mr. Dean helps bring it to life.
