Classic vampire story
Fantastic short story which is one of the earliest and most influential in the world of vampire fiction. Pre-dating Dracula by 25 years.
This audiobook was well read but a little confusing as I think it really should have been a female narrator. The voice of the story is Laura so having a male narrator is confusing at points. Otherwise excellent!

Decent story, AWFUL narration.
Elaine Wise did a much better job.
The narration here is largely monotone with identical delivery on every line and zero variation between character voices, to the point that it’s often hard to tell who is speaking at all.
I wish I hadn’t wasted a credit on this one.
