Summary
After the Priesthood wipes out my family, I find myself kidnapped and held prisoner by the head of the Bratva—a man as charming as he is terrifying.
My days are filled with chaotic emotions and fear. With time, I realize Viktor Vetrov wants more than just my obedience. He wants all of me, but I refuse to fall for his filthy promises of ecstasy.
The instant I gain my freedom, I run straight back to the Cosa Nostra. But I quickly learn that there are worse monsters in the world than the one who held me captive.
With no family left, choices are made for me. None are in my best interest. I’m forced to marry a man twice my age who doesn’t have a gentle side.
I only have one hope—Viktor Vetrov—but asking the head of the Bratva to save me will leave me indebted to him.
Do I give myself to the old monster who will use and abuse me, or do I give myself to the attractive devil who wiped out my family?
From USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author, Michelle Heard, comes a new standalone, full-length Russian Bratva romance novel.
This book is intended for mature listeners.

WOW Each book had me hooked
I absolutely loved this series, I found myself in a little listening slump and could not find anything that inspired me. But one listen to this and I was hooked.
I loved it that much I purchased additional credits so I could listen to all of the books I couldn’t wait. I would 100% recommend this series to anyone who wants a bit of spice and a dominant male.
The narrators were both great and worked well.

Excellent ending for the Sinners series
So book five is the final book for the Priesthood, and who better to end it with than the youngest of the group, Viktor!!
In book one Taken By A Sinner, we vaguely met Rosalie, when the Priesthood went to help Nikolas kill the Sicilians, and Antonio Mannos.
So this book picks up from that point, only we start from Rosalie's POV, from carefree teenager, to suddenly witnessing her Uncle Ricco murdered in front of her eyes, to them being dragged away from her home by Viktor.
It's another fast paced book, sort of from the half way mark, prior to that it's all about the difficult relationship between Viktor and Rosalie. About her grief and anger at Viktor and the Priesthood.
Initially Viktor said he was only going to keep her until she turned 18, however, when he finds out that her 18th birthday is in only 5 days time, he decides its best that she stays there until she turns 21.
He tries his best to make her happy, but she's not willing or able to put what the Priesthood did to have grandfather and uncle, and his part in it. She feels to forgive him or befriend him, would be to dishonour her family and her guilt keeps that form in place.
But what will actually happen over the next three years, more to the point is.....
What will happen once the three years is over?!?!
Will he let her go and if he does, where can she go?!?!
Well you'll have to buy the book and find out 😋😋😋😋
The only question I was actually left with, was at the beginning Viktor noted that her graduation was in two weeks. His reason for noting it, was so Rosalie wouldn't miss it. So why was it never mentioned again?? Did she go or did he decide not to take her?? Did he even ask her?? If there was one question I'd like answered, it would be....did she or didn't she?!!!!?
While you're buying the book, but the audio too.
Kelsey Navarro and James Anderson Foster are again narrating the parts of Rosalie and Viktor and as with the prior four books of the series, they are excellent!! It is most definitely worth the extra cost for the audio too.
I can't really say much more on this review that I've not said on the prior audios to the prior four books!! Their talent truly speaks for itself. Their pronunciation of all of the different accents and the different languages are excellent.
Anyway recommendations for both book and audio is a definite yes from me!! 😇😇

Beautiful ending to the series ❤️🔥
I think I'm in love with Viktor, he's the scariest but so kind, gentle and loving. The chemistry was off the charts. The story was so immersive and kept you wanting more. I love the friendship between Viktor and Lucca. I love the loyalty and support the priesthood offers. The story is well written and 5 stars to the narrators.
