Summary
In this audiobook you'll find what it takes to have an underlying sense of calm and equilibrium you can rely on the whole of your life. This is much more than feeling. It's a way of squeezing the most out of the up times, coping with the down times, and bouncing right back when things go completely off the rails. And best of all it requires no special skills and no effort. Calm: No Matter What shows you how to do this with one simple technique. Having sold more than 10 million "calm' books", Paul Wilson is internationally known as "The Guru of Calm". He has taught more than a million people to meditate worldwide.

An instructive contemporary self help book
Written by the founder of the Calm Movement this book has in mind the modern day person whose life is often frenetic. It’s premise is that we feel we just don’t have the time to take to centre & calm ourselves. Paul points out there are so many buzz-word therapies out there these days & that when deconstructed they all lead to the same message of finding techniques that can produce a better state of Calm; & self awareness of when our thoughts start to be our master rather than useful servants. Physiologically even if we take just 3 minutes to breath with conscious awareness our cortisol & Blood Pressure Modify too. Also once we are consciously aware our thoughts are running away with us we can spot that & consciously bring our attention back on a desired, helpful focus. Simple techniques given. The author has a Lovely way of explaining how to become centred & live feeling not so wound up.
