About this listen

A Warhammer Age of Sigmar Audiobook

Hannivor Toll, together with Armand Callis – warrior and confidante – plunges into Cinderfall’s dirty underbelly, to solve a mystery at the heart of which lies an evil that will take all their courage and cunning to overcome.

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

The world-wise experience of witch hunter Hanniver Toll comes together with the rugged determination and heavy firepower of the former Freeguild officer Armand Callis. Can they get to the bottom of a brutal murder, and what other secrets will they discover buried in the ash of Cinderfall?

THE STORY

Cinderfall district, Hammerhal Aqsha. The Twin-Tailed City belches fire day and night, smoke chokes the skies, and ash lines the streets like so much filthy snow. Life is brutal in Cinderfall – crime is rife, and death is cheap. But even here, the ritualistic murder of a supremely powerful ganglord is out of the ordinary.

Dispatched by the Order of Azyr, witch hunter Hanniver Toll arrives in Cinderfall to investigate. Is this the work of a rival gang, or is something much darker afoot?

Great narration, interesting expansion of the Callis and Toll series.

narration can't be faulted, the story itself could I feel have been somewhat more fleshed out in terms of character development. Interesting Twists though and enough to keep me hooked.

A Decent Witch Hunter Romp

Some cool characters given an interesting mystery to solve tied into the larger narrative of the Mortal Realms. Felt like it was a little over-explained at times but generally good. Also thought more could have been with Callis and Toll's companions. Also strange that it isn't tied in any way seemingly to the last Toll adventure.

Almost 5 stat

was a good solod story my only gripes were what vakue does this actually add to the story now as this I guess just adds on from Dawnbringers and is about to be eclipsed by skaventide.

Also as this was used to sell models didn't really see much of the other "heroes" of cinderfall.

AoS crime!

To go along with Warhammer crime, C&T are no Sherlock & Holmes but it’s a very good detective tale within the AoS universe

The story was fine but predictable

It’s always good to have a witch hunter as a main character.
This book is fine, it’s a little too predictable for my taste.
