Calistos, Guardians of Hades Book 5.
This was my first Guardians of Hades Book on Audible, although I've read all the others in the series! I was not disappointed at all, I had to listen, for as long as I could, I was totally gripped by Ms Heaton's latest instalment of The Guardians of Hades.
Calistos is the youngest of Hades' and Persephone's sons. He was deeply damaged by the loss of his twin sister many years ago. Her death something he has blamed himself for, for all that time. Mari has been brought up as human, she has been encouraged by her father to follow her dreams and is now studying to be a cellist at the Conservatoire in Paris, working as a receptionist at a hospital ER.
I have laughed at the antics of the brothers, during this book, these strong warriors brought to heel by their feisty women. The best line of the book has to be, for me ....
"The couple that slay together, stay together"!
I thoroughly recommend this book and I shall be enjoying more of this series on Audible!
