About this listen

Café Tropicana is the gorgeous new audiobook from the best-selling author of The Paradise Room.

Ava Langston knows exactly what she wants: her very own café and a life free of complicated relationships. But her plans go awry when her long-distance dad phones insisting she hop on the next plane to Costa Rica to meet his brand-new wife.

Ava has no intention of jetting to Latin America to acquire a stepmother - until, that is, her father offers her head honcho status at a beachfront café.

The lure of frothing cappuccinos in a land where the coffee beans grow proves irresistible. But she hasn't planned on Santiago, her sexy-yet-stubborn business rival, or rugged Ryan, whose idea of romance is swinging through the rainforest canopy at six a.m.

Both men give her butterflies, but only one will capture her heart.

Loved this book

I absolutely loved this book which takes the protagonist to Costa Rica where she learns to love the land and people. The story is great and easy to listen to, providing the listener with an escape into romance, comedy and adventure.

The author has clearly researched her destination well and gives accurate descriptions of places to allow the listener to follow in the protagonist’s foot steps.

I read this book years ago and was inspired to go to Costa Rica afterwards! I was pleased to see that the book had done it justice and described it perfectly.

I enjoyed the audiobook, which is read clearly with different voices for different characters. The book was a joy to read and the audiobook is an equal joy to listen to. I can recommend it highly.

Awful

I have read all of Belinda Jones' books and so was looking forward to this...however I just could get past the narrator's voice ( sorry) I couldn't even understand her attempts at the accents . I gave up after @2 hrs. I wish I could get my credit back
