About this listen
Lillian Rouse is new in town and determined to rebuild her life after a divorce. With everything new: a place to live, and a job in a new city, she sees an exciting future within her grasp. What she doesn’t take into account is the handsome man who calls himself Smoke to overwhelm her senses.
Zack Smoker has worked hard to build his new company, and the last thing he was looking for was a woman to invade his mind—especially one with little to no good experience in the bedroom. Only the first time he stares into her whiskey-colored eyes, he’s caught in a wave of desire that he can’t escape from.
When Zack learns that Lillian’s new job is at his company, he’s determined to get to know her and teach her things she never knew existed in the bedroom. He is all about pleasing her, but he never expected that he’d have the need to protect her, too.
With Lillian pushing Zack away, the burn they feel for one another gets put to the side. Will the fire be extinguished, or will Smoke find a way to get Whiskey to burn for him as he does for her?

Whiskey & Smoke Book 1
This is the beginning of Lilly’s and Zack’s love story. Lilly is recently separated and suffers from really low self esteem after years of marriage to a complete tool of a husband. When Zach shows some interest she finds it difficult to believe that someone like him could be interested in her. With some patience Zach shows her how she deserves to be treated but years of mental abuse are difficult to shake off.
Rowan Marlowe does a brilliant job narrating both POV.
