Hanlon grows with each book. Some great characters here with great 'whodunit' aspects. Highly entertaining.

Enjoyable
A good listen with a strong story that held my attention, The narration was excellent, Carolyn has a soft calming clear voice. Great characters. My first Alex Coombs book but won’t be the last.

Excellent narration
I’ve listened to all three in this series and have enjoyed them all. But it’s the narration that made them so enjoyable. Very soothing!

shades of Christie but some obvious holes
If you suspend belief that someone could be hired as a bodyguard but not spend their time with the protectee or do any background into people surrounding them or not be informed that schedule has changed and the event starts before they arriveor be rehired to investigate events that happened when they were a bodyguard, it's a decent story. Shame Murdos character has gone from a cocksure DI to a wet lettuce as well. But aside from all that is a well plotted story that has definite shades of Christie to it. Excellent narration.

Totally absorbing and very well narrated
This is my third book I have listened to by this author and developing into a fabulous series. I can see this going to TV or film.
Really great story line, characters and pace.
Narrator adds to the experience
