Quiet smiles rather than big laughs

This is the story of a neurotic cat and a slightly stupid dog, who's owners bring home a rather unusual rabbit.

The idea is great, well thought out and rather fun. The "mystery" part however is a bit lacking. My two boys (aged 4 and 6) figured it all out within the first 20 mins. They smiled at the antics of the animals rather than laughed.

That said, this story has been much discussed. It stimulated their imagination, rather than being a cracking read.
