Summary
According to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child from 1990, every child has the right to feel safe at home, at school, and in any community. Bullying is not needed in a child's life and, generally, this type of behavior does not go away on its own. On the contrary, it often gets worse over time, and it needs to be treated directly.
For this harmful behavior to stop, we must all intervene when it occurs and even take measures to prevent it from happening. The first step is to recognize the existence of bullying and to understand it.
The book, which does not pretend to be exhaustive on this topic, will give you some information that will help you recognize if your child or a child you know has been a victim or witness of bullying or a bully.
This information will also help you to act in order to end the bullying and to help the child who is victimized.

Insightful lecture
What I found most interesting was the chapter regarding consequences and effects for the long term. I was moved to understand how bullying can leave traces on our behavior and influence our lives for a long term, even when we become adults.

Easily applicable
My daughter had bullying problems at school and this research helped us understand why this was happening and how to face it, as a victim as well as a parent. I recommend it, especially for the part “Steps to help you child fight bullying”.

A mind changeable audible
As a parent of 4 years old boy, I’ve purchased this book to prepare myself for the time when he will go to school. I was surprised to learn about some bullying behaviors I faced when I was a student, which helped me understand why this is happening and how to react when I see it around me.
