A feel-good story with fantastic narration.
What a winning combo this is. 2 of my fave narrators and a fantastic author. Chelle is so great at writing loveable guys with questionable pasts. Logan/Crow was definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time and paid for it dearly, but he’s ready to start fresh. Bridget/Birdie and her daughter Mia come barrelling into his life and he can’t help but fall for them both.
This is a lovely story of support, acceptance, new beginnings and love. Both the main characters are doing it tough at the start but they lean on each other and their friendship turns into more. I love the cute interactions between Crow and Mia, Gavin was a hit for me and the spice of course is nice!
Samantha always delivers with performances that will draw you into the characters she’s playing. She balances barely coping mother with passionate lover so well, and she’s always a pleasure to listen to. Jason gives us the quiet and unassuming Crow. Feeling completely out of sorts but drawn to this family of 2. These two are a great match for these characters and the audiobook is fantastic.
If you like a feel good story with rough around the edges characters BROKEN WINGS is the book for you.

Very sweet
Another sweet story from Chelle Bliss. I’m loving this little spin off from the main line of characters Chelle has created in her heatwave series. It’s really nice to see how both characters grow emotionally throughout the book and learn to let each other in.
Jason Clark and Samantha Brentmoor do a fantastic job with the narration once again.

Good Listen
Logan is just trying to keep to himself because he does not know who he is anymore and what to expect from anyone. Bridget is struggling with her health issues and being a single mother. Luckily she taught her daughter what to do in an emergency and she happened to see Logan and asked him to help her mommy. Now he is entangled in their lives and don't want to let go and Bridget also wants him. This is a feel good story.

Such an enjoyable story of second chances
This story is about 2nd chances and finding your path in life. It is about the true meaning of family, love and support, when you need it the most. Crow (Logan) is starting over and trying to rebuild his life when he meets Birdie (Bridget) who is down on her luck, and her 7 year old daughter Mia. I just love how easy it is to connect with and relate to the characters. It is the perfect mix of sexy and sweet with the witty banter that we have all come to love from Chelle's characters. This story more than proves that you cannot judge a book by its cover. I listened to the audiobook version and thoroughly and thoroughly enjoyed the performance by Jason Carpenter and Samantha Brentmoor. These two truly did an amazing job amazing job at bringing the story to life.

Captivating
I have been waiting for this, I love the fact that I can read along a well as listen to it as I also have the ebook.
Jason and Samantha have made this come alive with their ease at narrating, both being out the chemistry the characters have together.

Loving this series
I am loving the direction this spin off series is taking. Idk if that’s what it is but that’s what I’m calling it. I really thought this book was going to take a different direction but I was pleasantly surprised that it did what it did lol. The build up to them becoming a couple was a little odd to me, I can’t explain it though. Once again great Characters and a wonderful story. The narration was great! I love everything from Jason and Samantha. I definitely recommend anything by Chelle Bliss.

More please
Chelle Chelle Chelle, how are you still after all this time managing to shock, enthrall and make me love your worlds and characters so much. This was well written and the flow had me listening all night instead of sleeping like I should have been. I was so surprised as the book continued as I didn’t expect it to go that way but I was so happy with the way it went.
The narration was so well done and chosen it truely felt like I was there in the world with them. Fantastic listen.

Love these broken wings!
After Broken Sparrow and Broken Dove, I didn't think Chelle Bliss could get any better. But once again, I am proven wrong. I was drawn into this story and could not stop listening! Crow has served his time and is out, adjusting to civilian life the best he can. A little girl comes running out of her house screaming for help, and from there we see this broken man begin to heal. Birdie has been fighting severe migraines, and now this one has literally taken her down. Getting help from Crow, as he comes to her aid isn't easy, but this man is a lifesaver. Little did these two know just how their fragile lives would solidify when together! Bliss has a way of creating real people in her books. I feel like I am one of the crowd, and experiencing the entire story as I listen, hanging with those I have met previously and dealing with all the new issues and budding relationships. Birdie is an interesting woman. As her past comes to haunt her, she had decisions to make. Crow has a lot to overcome as he deals with his past and learns all that he has missed. And Mia is adorable and I loved her from the start! Another great addition to this amazing series! I am ready for more!
Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor are a favorite team of mine, and this listen is fantastic! Clarke plays the broody Crow with a grumpy, teddy bear heart. Brentmoor gives us Birdie as the worried mom as she navigates her life. It's a team that compliments each other, and gives us characters we can easily fall in love with.
