About this listen
Everyone in my small town thinks I’m the sweet one in the Bedd family, but after a year of financial drama on our farm and a lifetime of being in my hot brothers’ shadows, this kindergarten teacher needs to blow off some steam.
When I meet a sizzling hot reality show chef named Bacon, that steam quickly becomes an inferno and before I know it, my one-night-stand has me screaming “Yes, Chef!” all night long.
All I wanted was one day to escape my small-town existence, forget my troubles and live it up in the city.
Well, I got my wish.
You know what else I got?
Pregnant.
Now I have to face the unforgettable man I left behind.
He’s salty that I lied to him and left him while the sheets were still warm. I don’t blame him one bit, but the clock is ticking until my little pork belly finishes curing and I am determined to thaw his heart before that happens.

This was a fun story
I really enjoyed Colleen & Bacon’s story, it was filled with fun, family & forgiveness.
I really liked how Colleen & Bacon’s relationship progressed, and the family welcoming him in with open arms. I love the chemistry & banter between them.
I adore the whole family, Gran especially, Baabara & the small town or Forklick.
This was a fun, emotional & entertaining romance.
Erin Mallon & Alastair Haynesbridge did a fantastic job bringing this story to life.

I loved Colleen and Bacon!
Bringing Home the Bacon is a perfect feel-good romantic comedy from Erin Mallon, and a perfect addition to the multi-author Farm 2 Forking series!
Colleen Bedd is next up in the Bedd family to fall in love, and boy does she do it in style. When she meets celebrity chef Bacon, they have an instant spark, and spend a fantastic day falling in love with each other. When Colleen sneaks back to her country life, she didn't expect to take home a souvenir. Yes, this is a surprise baby romance, but Bacon has an amazing reaction, and Colleen and Bacon's connection is so strong that it's really undeniable, despite how much Colleen tries to deny it. I loved how all-in Bacon was from day one.
The audio, narrated by Erin Mallon and Alistair Haynesbridge, is a true treat to listen to. Erin brings all of Colleen fears and concerns to life and makes you understand her hesitancy. Alistair makes you fall in love with Bacon right along with Colleen.

Bacon is delicious!
I know every time I delve into an Erin Mallon novel, I will be laughing and relating to her amazing character. She adds book 4 to this fun series and it's fabulous. Colleen is a tough cookie. With four brothers, she always feels a bit less than and gives attitude whenever she can. Meeting Bacon, the handsome reality show chef was exciting and fulfilling! Now she can't forget him! Bacon has been looking for the woman he was with that one night, but she didn't make it easy to find her. And when he did, he was in for a surprise! Coming to the small town is a bit of a culture shock but seeing her is all he wanted. Where does it lead? Colleen is such a great character! Competing with siblings is never easy, and her individuality is so endearing! Bacon is sweet and savory! He enthusiasm shines and makes him irresistible!
Alastair Haynesbridge and Erin Mallon continue their partnership in this series and boy do they bring it for this one! Spot on comedic timing, and the feels are so real! Each character comes in with the same voice from book to book making the listen feel like coming home. I loved this listen and look forward to more.

Sizzling funny, smokingly smexy, a slice of great small town fun. Erin fried this book to perfection. Colleen and Bacon were meant for each other. Who knew Colleen was able to scramble some spontaneity!! Erin Mallon and Alastair Haynesbridge really brought home the bacon with this one.

Small Town Romantic Comedy
This is the fourth book in the Farm 2 Forking series, a small town romantic comedy. This is a multi-author series. I liked this small town romantic comedy. Bacon and Colleen's story is fun, sweet, passionate, engaging, and heartfelt. Alastair Haynesbridge & Erin Mallon did an excellent job bringing these characters, and this story to life. I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this series!

Great audio performances
Bringing Home the Bacon by Erin Mallon can easily be read as a stand alone in the Farm 2 Forking series. The only other book I've read in the series was For Fork's Sake by Karen Grey, which was about Colleen's twin, and I didn't feel like I was missing information not having read the first two books.
Bringing Home the Bacon is a surprise, but not secret, pregnancy story. I like that there are unique characters and some silly situations, and I think this story would translate really well to audio.
Update: I listened to the audio version and decided to add a star to the rating. The audio version is narrated by Erin Mallon and Alastair Haynesbridge. They do a great job with the narration, especially with the teasing between the characters. It came across as more fun when it was performed.
I received a copy of the book at my request, and the opinions here are my own.
