Summary

Three women.
One man.
A whole lot of monsters.

Malem is a breaker. He breaks the minds of beasts, exerting the steel vise of his will over their own, bending them to his wishes.

His ability is severely limited in terms of the types of creatures he can control and how many. Most monsters have always been beyond him.

And then one day he accidentally breaks a monster girl. Doors begin to open for him faster than he thought possible.

Note: This book contains harem elements. The main character certainly isn't shy around women, and the magic system is unique in ways you might not expect. Also, the story can get a tad dark in places.

Fantastic

I’ve become a massive fan of Hooke and his work. The audiobook was well voiced and produced. Job well done.

Absolute garbage, what the actual f***

I'm sorry for Luke Daniels, a top narrator, this book is not doing you any favours. Luke was the reason I purchased this book the story revolves around a want to be Witcher with zero literary or fantasy credibility. The character breaks women's wills surrendering themselves to a ridiculous beast tamer. One woman is a prostitute who decides she's an assassin with a magical blade who gets with him after she'd been spurned by him a few chapters earlier, another one is bedded later that allows the main character to dominate a dragon lady which he has sex with during a battle with generic orc creatures trying to break into their hiding place while the assassin tries to cut her way through a stone wall. I genuinely have no idea how this shit got published. the women in this story willingly throw themselves at this disgusting character. there's no real obstacle or challenge in the story. I don't know how old this author is but it's written like some 16 year olds fantasy. how is this guy a best seller? people! wake up! there's much better lit out there.. Luke Daniels, please please please proof read this shit before you take the job. this is almost as bad as that podium publishing smut lit shit. you're better than that.
