This is my second book by Marshall Thornton and I really enjoyed it. I love Nick Nowak and his take on life, love and people in general.
Brad Langer certainly brings him to life.

Boystown 4
This is the first book I’ve heard from Marshall Thornton, and what should I say? It’s not gonna be my last audiobook from this author.
Detective Nick Kowak is an interesting main character I liked. He’s not perfect, he’s not afraid of anything, and I like the way he approaches cases. It can be said that in a hard shell there is a soft center. I’m an 80s kid, so I really liked the setting. At the same time, it is frightening to see how helpless people were in dealing with AIDS at the time. I liked the plot and I can recommend this series to everyone. Brad Langar did a great job and narrated wonderul.

Great series
These books follow a private detective called Nick Nowak, set in the 1980s it follows his career, once a policeman and his love life. These are great short stories that all mingle and somethings are sad.
It's great remembering the things we did in the 80s. Great series.

Heart wrenching and gripping!
Another engaging mystery interwoven with Nick’s personal life. This seemingly easy case might just put Nick’s life in danger. And poor Nick, he finally realises he’s in love yet he can’t stop from having unprotected sex with other guys he’s just met. There’s a sense of foreboding with regards to Harker and their future. Despite all of Nick’s foibles, he is a caring man and a successful PI. There are plenty of hot scenes and some quite emotional ones too. Great writing and portrayal of characters throughout, all wonderfully narrated by Brad Langar.
