About this listen

Heat? Humor? HEA?

I want Daisy Crest, and I always get what I want.

The name Camden Rutgers is golden in Hickory Creek Township, Tennessee. My father is the president of the Serrated Brotherhood MC. My mother is a member of the local royalty.

More than my good name, I have the looks, money, and power to entice any woman to slide my Harley between her legs and take a ride. I expect the same response from Daisy when I make my move.

Let’s just say things didn’t go well.

For months, I assume Daisy will run back to me. Too bad she hates exercise, and her ego refuses to let her grovel. Frustrated with waiting, my heart demands I claim the quirky virgin. Daisy can hem and haw, play cold with my heart, and even try reasoning with me, but nothing will prevent her from becoming my Bourbon Babe.

Bourbon Blues contains graphic sexual content, violent situations, and harsh language. The book is only appropriate for adult listeners aged 18+.

Fabulous start to the series!!

As soon as I saw that Bijou Hunter had released a new MC romance series, I was on it like a kid in a candy shop. Bourbon Blues met my highest expectations; it was wonderfully written and super engaging. The humour was the best, with witty dialogue and loads of laugh-out-loud moments. The storyline was well-plotted, romantic, hilarious, steamy with a bit of suspense, and I ate it all up. Despite this being an MC book, the storyline was focused on the main characters, Daisy and Camden's journey. Overall, the characters were fantastic and thoroughly appealing; they were all well-developed. I thought Daisy and Camden were an ideal match and perfect together. I really enjoyed their story. The basis for the rest of the series was nicely paved. I'm definitely intrigued by the other characters and know more is to come, and eagerly anticipating the next audiobook.

Excellent performance by Isabella Starr! She captured the nuances of the characters, emotions, and humour nicely, making the story even more engaging. Bourbon Blues was a fantastic listen and a great start to the Serrated Brotherhood MC, one I'm strongly recommending.
