Great read but a rushed ending

major areas lacked but over all a great book to read and would highly recommend. What was that chapter where she was in bed with Tankervitch that left us all wondering. did she? Didn't she? If she did then why wasn't this addressed. Those sorts if details lacked and were the points that reminded the reader that it was just a book and was not real. until those moments you had me hooked! He went off to prepare for a month for the final mission and his wife did a sudden U Turn and spoke as if they hadn't split up and asked him to stay. He answered like a man not in love and not gutted that he'd thought until now that he'd lost her. He just said sorry dude but I gotta go. and, why didn't he take her with him knowing he might die on his mission wouldn't a real character want to spend every waking moment with his kids and the woman who just agreed to have him back? and hell all the other lot had their wives there!!?? Those huge cowpats dotted throughout this book stopped it being real. Another typical male author that showed his gender without me even needing to check as the male that wrote this lacks emotions like more than 50% of the male population right? only joking. Buy the book, it's a good read. Good story.
