About this listen

It’s time to go back home.

In the years since Lindon left Sacred Valley, he has attained power beyond anything his family thought possible. Now he’ll have to put those powers to the test, because a Dreadgod is on its way.

Lindon and his allies set out to evacuate the valley before the arrival of the Wandering Titan, but their sacred arts are weakened by an ancient curse. They’ll have to persuade the squabbling inhabitants of Sacred Valley to leave behind their home and set off into the outside world.

But it has been a long time since Lindon left, and more has changed than he realized.

He has always sought power to save his family…but now he might be too late.

The story advances...

...and in what a way! An excellent installment to an already 5 star series.

Somehow, Will Wight manages to surpass himself with every new book. The story is captivating from the get go and doesn't let up until the very end! There are many characters to follow in this book and while Lindon is still the main character I felt like we got enough "screen time" with the members of the main team considering the length of the book and the amount of action.

Audio performance is excellent as always but to say that the editing is lacking is an understatement. I don't know why did the editor decide to add dead space between words in the middle(!!!) of a sentence but it completely threw the timing off.

Fantastic book all-in-all and I'm sure I will listen to it many more times!

Good but short

Same great characters, setting and all the rest but very very short. Looking forward to the next book again

Great set of books

Great story even though the plot changes were a little clunky. when is the main character going to grow some b*lls. In world where power is ultimate and the main character is powerful he still acts like he did at the start of the book. the character needs to start moving on now.

A Good refocusing

I wanted more development but that could only happen with a longer book , Travis does his usual great job and the plot sets up the following book nicely. Worth it and looking froward to what follows.

I do wish every book was double the size as theres so much to explore and cradle is a awesome series

i have a problem.

this series is stopping me from working, I haven't digested through a series of books so quickly. books are short, but each one just feels like putting logs on the fire to a point where it's becoming a raging inferno. Can't stop taking breaks here and there just to satisfy my hunger for more.

not many books grip me like this, and I'm happy I'm still partway through this journey.

I sound like a beautiful nerd when I'm telling my gf of the epic events of dread gods, monarchs, high octane fights involving a beautifully crafted abilities that each one earns through their paths and character development that each one I'm truly vested in their stories.

it's a very very cool series. narrator does a phenomenal job at bringing these characters to life.

I hope my performance review isn't anytime soon...

Another Excellent addition.

A superb instalment of an exceptional series. Travis Baldtree's delivery is also outstanding. This book is one of the easiest recommendations I'll ever make and I can't wait for the next one!

A satisfying return home

It was quite satisfying to see that the people of the valley reacted exactly as one presumed based on the repulsive nature of every character we ever met XD, and it was also satisfying to see how our heroes struggled with the situation. The story advanced nicely, I especially liked the hint of impending doom looming in the air. Travis Baldree's performance was spectacular again.

Surpasses expectations

This chapter of Lindon’s adventure brings fantastic closure whilst allowing for there to be so much more room to go. If you’ve gotten this far in the series then make sure you keep going. It’s fantastic!
