Summary
‘Heather is a bright star in the world of gangland writing...Read it, you won't be disappointed' Jacqui Rose
To survive, they’ll need to stick together…
After the defeat of the rival Gordon and Thompson families, the Blood Brothers' reputations as feared lieutenants of the McVay clan are firmly established. The Gallowburn has become an untouchable stronghold in their capable hands.
However, danger rears its head in another form - Jamie’s deadliest foe, Cameron Abernethy. Still fighting to be released from prison, Cameron decides to use the Lawson family, the Blood Brothers’ biggest rivals, to discover his daughter's whereabouts.
With his enemies getting closer, and the police on his tail too, Jamie has some impossible choices to make. This is his last chance to live the life he's dreamed of with the woman he loves, but first he’s got to make sure he's not caught or killed…

5 stars for the Series.
The last in the Gallowburn Series. Hooked from the start, and it just got better and better. What to listen to now? Angus is a great narrator. I never get tired of the Scottish accent and was perfect for this Glasgow setting.

Fantastic!
I happened across the first of this quartet and then just had to keep reading more about Jamie and Allegra, and Jackie with her frying pan. I loved it all. Living far from my Scottish roots, it was a joy to hear Angus King read Heather Atkinson's words and she has drawn such a brilliantly comic and dramatic picture of Gallowburn shenanigans and villainy.

Such a fantastic series….
….it’s a shame it’s come to its end.
Great plots, fine writing, wonderful characterisations topped by outstanding narration.
I couldn’t ask for more…..except I’d like some more!

Brilliant series!
Very well written and equally well presented. I didn't see the end coming. I just wish there were a book 4. Any chance?
