lots of guessing ability...

I enjoyed this story. It kept me interested and guessing and also I relate to the mum quite a lot. A good audio book.

Couldn’t put it down

I couldn’t stop listening to this book so many twists! Listen to it over a full day! I had to have a short break at one point as it was so tense! Loved it.

Shame about the ending

I was gripped by this story and was eager to listen at every available opportunity. It is well written and kept me guessing throughout. The characters are well drawn and believable and the narrator is excellent.
But I felt completely let down by the ending which is implausible and frankly, ridiculous.

One of the best authors

K. L. Slater has written an number of books that are just amazing.

These thriller stories will keep you hooked. The twist & turns are so brilliantly put together. This story is no different to the others. You are literally guessing, throughout, what is going in the background of the main story. Always wonder ping where is this all going to lead. Thank god all questions are answered by the end of this tale.

Can’t recommend this highly enough.

Passed the time

yes it was enjoyable enough and passed the time.

It was Ok if not earth-shattering, although I'd probably recommend other books first

The story is pretty far-fetched and takes ideas from other books I've read recently such as the far superior "Sometimes I Lie"
It's not terribly well-written or well thought-out, although the plot holds the interest.
The main character needs a good slap, she comes over as pretty wet and the child is irritating (or the narrator is, I couldn't decide which)

one of the best books I've listened to in a while

What made the experience of listening to Blink the most enjoyable?

The story is well thoughout and just when you think you know where it is going you are shocked to discover you had it all wrong

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blink?

there are so many twists to the story that leave you wondering where it will go next. too many good points to mention just one

What about Lucy Price-Lewis’s performance did you like?

She read the book with emotion in the correct places and made it easy to distinguish between the different female characters

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I ended up listening to this book over a period of 2 days. I found myself making excuses to listen to another chapter.

Very good

I don't normally read this type of book but something about it caught my attention. I thought it was a little slow in places, but that was brilliantly offset with characters you love to hate. The twist really caught me by surprise.
