Summary
Magic has returned to the land. And so has the Black Dragon.
An epic dragon riding adventure from Jada Fisher, author of the popular Brindle Dragon series.
Blessed with a magic she doesn’t understand, Ukrah must find her way in a world that doesn’t always embrace her and her gifts. Accompanied by a talking bird and a strange young man who took her in, she must find the legendary dragon rider who saved the world from the Blight. Can Ukrah escape from those who would enslave her, or worse, and find the only person who can help her realize her destiny?
The Black Dragon Omnibus contains the first three stories in the Rise of the Black Dragon series which follows the story of a young girl blessed - and cursed - with a magic she doesn’t understand and a dragon who will save - or destroy - the world.

I was at times slightly confused.
Hello I am using my mum's account to leave this rating.
I felt that the story was very good and that the narrator was also very good. However I was confused about some things. For example the book calls Athars Dragon is called Athella the whole way through, but the narrator calls it Estelle the whole time. On page 171 it says Ukrah has not seen or heard from Tayir and wished she could see him and hear from him. But when she was in the big room alone other than the 3 people stated. Yet on page 172 Tayir is speaking to her, but how can he if he isnt there?? Also in the 3rd book Black Dragon the narrator say that Ukrah was run through with a sword when she was actually shot with a bolt from a crossbow. I have to ask if the narrator was given a different script to read. But other than that it is a excellent book and really good to read and listen to at the same time.
